The project’s staff and volunteers work in partnership with other local organisations, groups and schools to promote and encourage involvement in horticulture.
Training
We provide indoor and outdoor training workshops in areas such as horticulture, recycling, computing, woodworking, fabrics, ceramics and landscaping.
Our people work in and with the local community so that mutual trust and respect is built and integration is achieved. We encourage and support our people where they wish to progress to further education colleges or into mainstream employment.
Work is the key to inclusion in our society, we therefore organise support work placements for our people as a bridge to full employment. In time we will create jobs for some people through the various training and trading activities we have planned as we are an emerging social firm.
